See Ya Jason

The Jason Michaels' Era in Cleveland has come to an end.

In an attempt to give the offense a spark we have called up a Triple A outfielder hitting .228/.308/.315 to platoon against left handers (The dude had a lower OPS than Jason Tyner!!). Sweet, a struggling hitter is just what this offense needs. Obviously, Jason Michaels had to go (I have been saying such since Spring Training) but as Mark Shapiro says of the move:

This one move is not going to solve our offensive woes. Jason Michaels certainly wasn't the primary cause of them. When you have five to seven guys struggling, you can't make one or two moves and solve the problem.

This team does not have any hitters in the minors with the ability to come in a provide a significant spark for this team. Unless a trade is made or a Barry Bonds is signed, we can only hope for the lineup to hit to their ability.
